Casa Florentina

Having breakfast each morning in Florentina's lovely garden, with the mountains in view and a chat with her, was one of the best parts of our stay. She was such a charming, welcoming host, always cheerful and looking after us so well. At €55 a night for two, it felt very reasonably priced. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with tostas, tea or coffee, and orange juice. The rooms have a lot of charm and keep the building's history, with beautiful wooden beams and mountain views. Since it's an older house, sound carries and we could hear people getting up in the morning. The other guests were very quiet and respectful, though, and we were up early too. There are bakeries, shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars just a few minutes' walk around town. A short drive or bus ride gets you to the start of spectacular mountain trails.

Florentina was a wonderful host and gave us some tips for our hikes. We stayed one night while exploring the trails nearby. Definitely recommend it if you'd like a cozy, friendly place instead of one of the bigger hotels. Thanks so much!

Florentina was so friendly and attentive, and we felt very well looked after during our three nights in this charming house. Everything was clean and well maintained, giving it a warm, relaxing feel. It's a quiet village, well placed for exploring the Picos de Europa and nearby towns. There are several places close by to eat and buy local products. We wholeheartedly recommend Casa de Aldea Florentina.

Florentina is such a lovely woman, and her service was exceptional. She paid attention to every detail, and the breakfast she made herself was delicious.
