We stayed here to do the Bulnes route, which is about a 15-minute drive away. The area is quiet and very well located, and the house suits a group nicely. The main thing that let it down for us was the cleanliness, particularly in the kitchen.

The kitchen had everything we needed, including an oven and toaster, and there was an iron and ironing board too. We didn't mind that there was no Wi-Fi. The place worked really well for two families with children, and Arenas de Cabrales is close enough to walk to. I recommend the Urriellu butcher shop there. The stream alongside the property looks especially lovely at night, and the location is excellent. A couple of things could be better: the shower curtain shifts and lets water splash out, and if you want to barbecue, bring your own grill because I wouldn't use the one provided. I recommend staying here.

Clara looked after us so well and stayed attentive to what we needed throughout the visit. The accommodation was spotless and had Covid-19 safety measures in place. Its position between the beach and the mountains made it a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy Asturias's peaceful side.

Seven of us stayed and there was plenty of room. I really liked the place, and the backyard barbecue was great. For Cabrales cheese, stop at the village store, La Cueva del Queso. We did notice a lot of mosquitoes, the TV didn't work, and there was no Wi-Fi. Still, it's a nice base for the Cares Route and exploring Asturias.
