The setting around Hotel-Restaurant La Casa de Juansabeli is beautiful and peaceful, with wonderful scenery that made it easy to relax and enjoy the area. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were welcoming and friendly the whole time. We also ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed both the food and atmosphere. Everything seemed well looked after, and the service stayed attentive throughout. A memorable stay, and I’d definitely recommend Hotel-Restaurant La Casa de Juansabeli to anyone visiting.

We had a great room with lovely views and a patio, and the food was really, really good. The French toast dessert was phenomenal. It’s also a central base for exploring Picos de Europa on day hikes.

The owner/chef sent us off with a pot of his jam after a very good breakfast. We’d already had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, the best meal of our four-week trip. The hotel was a great stop for one night on our way south, with beautiful scenery and a quiet, comfortable room looking out over the mountain from its patio. The staff were very helpful too. A great start to the trip, and we’ll definitely be back.

Watching vultures glide above the ridgeline while I sat with a beer was unforgettable. I stayed five nights about a month ago with the hillwalking group that BillyF mentions in the review below, and we had a wonderful time. The mountain views out front are amazing, the food is astonishing, the rooms are lovely, and the staff are SO helpful. Don’t let the hotel’s star rating put you off. Highly recommended.

We had a great evening here. The five-course meal was 30 Euros, and while it wasn’t quite Michelin standard, it came very close. A fantastic restaurant and an absolute must if you’re in the area.
