Hotel Naranjo De Bulnes

We had a great stay for our trekking holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I'd come back.

Our group of 14 people from Sri Lanka was made to feel welcome. The gentleman at the front desk was polite, patient with all of us, and helpful. He shared information about the town, its history, and the local people. From outside the hotel looks small, but there's plenty of room inside, and our rooms were very clean and well maintained. My room looked out over the mountain range, an incredible view to wake up to. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Spanish omelet. The staff kept the food stocked, and the gentleman working breakfast made sure both the service and food were just right. The hotel is in a great location, with restaurants about five minutes away and a supermarket a ten-minute walk.

The landscape and views nearby are spectacular, with kayaking, biking, canyoning, and walking among the activities. The hotel is close to the center of Los Arenas, where there are several places to eat. All the staff were pleasant and extremely helpful, and they speak excellent Spanish and English.

This was just right for us: a friendly, family-run place with good-sized rooms. The lively town center is easy to reach on foot, about 15 minutes each way at an average walking pace.
