We stayed in the second-floor apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it was all great. The place is very spacious, with air conditioning in every room. Parking on the street was really easy. Highly recommended, especially as a base for exploring the area!

The rooms were spacious and bright, and the location was good. The accommodation itself was fine, but when we reported that two of the four ceramic hob burners didn’t work and a third only worked partly, the host showed no interest in sorting it out. We were also short one bath towel.

The rooms were very spacious, but the stay was unacceptable and bordered on criminal. There were six of us for four days, and basic supplies were missing: only two toilet rolls, three towels for six people, and no shower gel or shampoo. The ceramic hob didn’t work. We told the host and got no solution, so we had to eat out every day despite buying groceries to cook. That food and other basic supplies we bought were left in the apartment. The Wi-Fi connected but had no upload or download speed, despite the host assuring us before booking it would work perfectly. This mattered because we were working remotely on Thursday and Friday. The last day was the worst. We had agreed on a checkout time, but the host arrived early, banged on the door, and came in without permission. The entrance uses a code only he knows. He shouted at us and accused us of making noise the night before, even though we hadn’t been in the apartment since 10:00 PM the previous day. Later an elderly neighbor came out publicly to defend us, saying she hadn’t heard us at any point during our stay. He then demanded €70 in cash for an antique stool, claiming it was damaged, though it was perfectly fine. We said that if he wanted to make a claim, we were prepared to respond through the proper channels, via Airbnb, and with a receipt. He lost control, grabbed the stool, threw it down, kicked it to pieces, then picked up a splintered leg and physically threatened to smash a friend’s head with it. My friend had let out a nervous laugh at what was happening. His wife and son were there, and his son looked visibly embarrassed by his father’s behavior. We couldn’t finish packing or properly check the apartment before we left. Outside, when we said we were prepared to take legal action, he said he wished he could “activate an anti-gopheresis filter.” He also told one of us he knew his father and would get him eventually. I wish I’d never booked this apartment. Airbnb should investigate what happened. The damaged chair:

The apartment was very clean and good value, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The kitchen and living area has a bar with stools instead of a table. Even though we’d paid in advance, the owner asked for a credit card and insisted we keep quiet, saying he’d already had to call the police for another group. It felt like a lapse in service, just prejudice...
