The booking was later canceled as if we hadn’t stayed there. Honestly, I wish we hadn’t. On top of that, under Royal Decree 933/2021, failing to provide personal information to the authorities is considered a serious offense, with fines from €601 to €30,000. As a good citizen, I’m going to file a complaint. The hostel was poor quality, even though it was cheap. An older man just handed us the key without checking us in or doing anything else. Our second-floor room wasn’t clean: there was hair on the floor and in the bathroom, and behind the toilet it looked like it had never been cleaned. The beds seemed to date back to my grandfather’s military service, and we could hear the next room as if someone were sleeping with us. A real disaster.

It was pouring with rain and snow, and we were stranded in the village. At 12:30 a.m., our car wouldn’t start, so I called the hostel. The first thing they said was that it wasn’t a good time to call. Thanks, we’ll find somewhere friendlier.

The customer service was unpleasant, and both the cleanliness and personal attention left a lot to be desired.

The place is welcoming, the staff are incredibly friendly, and it’s clean. It has everything you need in a hostel, with excellent value for the price. I’ve stayed many times and will keep booking.
