Balcones de Bentomiz

The breakfast setup was a nice change: a local baker leaves a small loaf at the hotel in the morning, and you eat it with what's in the fridge. I really liked that. The rooms aren't very big, but they're clean and come with the basics, including pans, a coffee machine with different coffee pots, a hairdryer, fridge, bunk bed as well as the usual double bed, two tables and chairs, and a roomy terrace, plus lots of handy little details. The building's architecture is amazing, and there's a huge parking lot, a pool, and a large event area with tents.

I've got one more day here after three so far. The room is good, and the bed is excellent. The drive through the mountains takes a while, but it gets you away from all the bustle. I was disappointed with breakfast, though. The bakery hangs one sandwich on the door, and that's all I received. The coffee in the room is excellent, and it's nice to have it on the balcony. I'd still recommend the place, and hope breakfast might improve in future, maybe at least two rolls per person.

My brand-new apartment didn't have WiFi yet, but I was able to use the connection at Balcones de Bentomiz. I'd been moved elsewhere because there was a wedding party at Balcones de Bentomiz. The place I stayed wasn't far away and was at least as good. They provided water and breakfast items, and the apartment was large with a wonderful terrace.

Up in the mountains, with a small pool, a nice room, and friendly staff.
