Camino de las Bardenas

We came by bike without a reservation, since Booking showed no rooms left, but the hotel still had space for us. A lovely lady showed us to our room and let us keep the bikes in the kitchen storage room. The room is simple but has what you need. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and cost just 5,- per person. The village is nice for an evening walk, and the main sights of the Bardenas Reales are close by.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nice, and breakfast was delicious and very complete. The owner was attentive and kind throughout our stay, so we were happy with it apart from dinner. After a day at Sendaviva, we were left waiting at the restaurant for 20 minutes without being served, while two tables that arrived later finished their meals. We never got dessert and eventually went back to our room without saying anything, feeling quite upset.

Consuelo, the owner, served a very good breakfast at the table, with coffee, croissants, yogurt, toast, cold cuts, and more. She was friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights, and the room for the three of us was spacious, very clean, and had extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom was roomy and clean too, though a little dated, but it was adequate. A great option for exploring the Bardenas Reales and the surrounding area, or visiting Senda Viva.

This rural hotel is well placed for both visitors and business travelers, with plenty of resources and activities nearby. Arguedas is one of Navarre's most visited towns, though it has fewer than 5,000 inhabitants. The Bardenas Reales Natural Park, Senda Viva Park, and the Ebro Green Corridor are all within reach, and the GR-99 long-distance trail runs through town, popular with walkers and cyclists. There are cultural stops too, including the La Capilla exhibition hall, the town cultural center, and guided cave visits. Those caves form part of Navarre's intangible cultural heritage.
