What really makes this place stand out is the warm welcome from the patronne. The restaurant is high quality and keenly priced, too. In the small village of Aribe, it’s a fantastic base for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The dinner was spot on, and I went all in on local dishes. The owner was lovely, spoke English really well, and already knew about the race and my early departure. I stopped here before the last leg to San Sebastian while doing Transpyrenees. My only hesitation was the €60 price. I hadn’t paid more than €42 elsewhere during the race, and this stay didn’t feel 50% better than those.

The staff were friendly and helped with planning outings, including Selva de Irati, Roncesvalles, and the mountain pass into France. Dinner service was good, and breakfast was well served. The rooms are modern, large, clean, and fully equipped.

The food was very good, and our room was clean, tidy, and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The owners are really nice and know a lot about the local area, which is why I gave it four stars.

The breakfast was hearty and delicious, and the food in general was very good quality. The menu felt very fairly priced for the quality and portions. Our hosts were friendly, professional, and charming, with lots of information for guests, including hiking trail details in our case. The accommodation was more than adequate, with clean, comfortable, spacious rooms.
