Casa Rural La Vigas

From the sunny terrace, we woke up to an incredible view over the clouds and down to the sea. The house has everything you need, with silence and nature all around. It may be one of the nicest houses in the area. We were warmly welcomed, and Pedro was friendly, direct, and easy to talk to without making a fuss. Splendid!!!

Tenerife’s central location makes this a great place to stay, and the setting is unique.

Pedro made sure we had everything we needed and was incredibly helpful throughout. He even welcomed us with two bottles of wine he’d made himself, a lovely gesture we really appreciated. His house has loads of character and a special feel, and sits in a peaceful spot with a beautiful view. We had an amazing stay and would definitely choose Pedro’s house again if we return to Tenerife. Highly recommended!

We felt more like travelers getting a glimpse of rural Tenerife than tourists. There are old farming terraces nearby, and you can see something of how life used to be, while still having modern comforts. Pedro knows the island well and was friendly and generous with recommendations. His wine is a must-try. Las Vigas is a distinctive, interesting building, beautifully restored in a striking setting. The house is original, with splendid sea views, and the quiet is remarkable. We slept with the window open without being disturbed by noise or light. It feels far from the tourist crowds, though the southern highway is only 10 minutes away. A ravine nearby feels like it’s all yours, with native plants and lots of different birds to observe. The grounds are carefully looked after, with a lovely garden and vineyard. Some of the buildings have been left as they were, preserving the charm of a little old-fashioned street. A very special place, and highly recommended.
