El Tenerife Climbing House

Elena made it easy to feel at home. She’s friendly, approachable, funny, quick to reply, and very helpful, with excellent English. The climbing wall inside is a great bonus, and the other guests were lovely and clearly passionate about climbing. There’s plenty of gear to rent and a climbing shop right next door. Getting around without a car can be tricky, since it’s not in a tourist area where taxis are easy to find. Elena shared a local taxi company’s contacts, which helped, though there are only a few taxis and they aren’t always available, so plan ahead. I climbed with Erick for two days and Denise for another two. It was a fantastic experience, especially since it was my first time climbing outdoors. I miss them!

A great base for a climbing trip, with a lovely view from the room. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and nice, and the customer service was excellent. When our stove had an issue, it was fixed within a few hours. I really enjoyed my stay.

The climbing courses were a lot of fun, and it’s a welcoming place to try climbing. The staff are friendly, the dorms are nice and cozy, and there are enough toilets and showers. The communal kitchen was clean, with shops and great hikes nearby. Highly recommend. I hope to come back very soon. Muchas gracias 🙏
