Breakfast was really tasty, and Marian made us feel welcome from the start. She was helpful and shared stories about the guesthouse and the area around it.

A cosy little place with a proper old-fashioned feel. The wooden doors are lovely, and the floors creak when you walk around 🤣👌

The hostess was lovely and the rooms were lovely too. We had a great stay and would happily recommend the hotel.

The house was lovely and clean, with lots of space and good heating, so we were comfortable during our two-night stay. I came with three friends, and we all slept well. We really enjoyed the homemade breakfast, especially the yogurt, jam and cake, along with toast and fresh tomatoes from the garden. Upstairs there’s a big sitting room with sofas and a TV. The woman who runs the place was very friendly. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area. Thanks so much.

Marian, the owner, made us feel very welcome and told us about the region, its people, the Agotes, and how to see the area. The house is right in the heart of the Baztán Valley, which made it a handy base for exploring. My wife, our 15-year-old son, and I stayed three nights during Holy Week and had a wonderful time. The rooms are pretty much what you’d expect at a rural guesthouse, but the beds were very comfortable and the heating worked so well that I actually had to turn it down 😅. Breakfast is optional and costs €4.50 per person per day, which seems reasonable to me compared with other places. The homemade yogurt, cake, honey, and jam were delicious. It all made our trip to the Baztán Valley a perfect 10. I highly recommend a visit. If you get the chance, see Ainhoa and Espelette in the French Basque Country, along with Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Bayonne, and Biarritz. You won’t be disappointed.
