Casa Rural Bigotes

There are plenty of hiking trails starting in or near the village, and a tavern close to the house serves a delicious set menu that’s well worth trying. We stayed for a weekend with six friends and had a fantastic time. The house had everything we needed for cooking, and more. Paco gave us a warm welcome and was very friendly. Thanks for your hospitality, Paco, it was a pleasure! 100% recommended :)

We were two families with young children, and the house felt thoughtfully set up for their safety. It was the small details that made the difference: slippers, kitchen utensils, a first-aid kit, a suggestion box, a local tourist guide, and even a new dishcloth and scouring pad. Everything was perfect, and the cleanliness and comfort exceeded our expectations. One of the best rural places we’ve stayed, and we’ll definitely return. Paco, the owner, was incredibly kind. I wanted to thank him here, because those little things really matter. 10 out of 10!

Francisco was a fantastic host, and the Japanese Ofuro in the garden was an incredible experience. We had a wonderful few days in a house that lacked nothing: clean, very well equipped, and with a covered barbecue and oven so the weather couldn’t spoil a cookout. It’s surrounded by nature, even though Burgos is nearby.

We still have very fond memories of our week there in July. We visited Burgos and Atapuerca, and the location worked perfectly. The house was lovely, comfortable, and very clean. Paco, the owner, was attentive throughout.
