Oscar from the staff was a highlight, very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant food was really good. The rest of our stay at this 4-star hotel fell short of what we expected for the price. The bathroom wasn't very clean, the towels were in poor condition, and the windows were so dirty they affected the feel of the room. The shower was broken when we arrived and wasn't fixed until the second day, and the blinds didn't work properly. It was also inconvenient that the hotel shop only opens on Fridays, even though many guests wanted to use it.

We had a great stay at Hotel Olimpo and I'd certainly come back. The hotel is right by the water with access to a small beach, and from there we could walk around Isla to eat, shop, and swim. Our clean room had standard hotel fixtures and amenities, plus a top-floor balcony with a beautiful ocean view. The one bad part was the strong chemical smell in the bathroom. A battery-powered device sprayed a scented chemical into the back of the toilet tank every few minutes. It was so overpowering we could taste it. Turning the sprayer off helped a little, but we still slept with the balcony door open to clear the fake cherry scent.

The food was amazing, and so were all the staff. Thank you all, Rachel NK Holidays coach driver.

We arrived on Saturday afternoon just as a wedding party made the place incredibly busy, but the hospitality staff still found us a table and took our order. The celebrations were in separate buildings, so we could watch the fun from a distance without being disturbed. Everyone was friendly. The rooms are beautiful, with balconies and lovely views, and the setting is stunning. All our meals were fantastic, easily worthy of a Michelin rating. We'd go out of our way to stay here again.

I was there on the 24th of May for my sister’s wedding, and Hotel Olimpo in Isla, Cantabria, right by the sea, made for a memorable setting. From the venue there were wide ocean views, and the outdoor ceremony looked out over the water amid lush greenery. The floral arch, blue and white arrangements, and warm sunshine gave the vows a serene, romantic feel. The staff were excellent, from the waiters to the bartenders. They were polite, quick, and attentive, and guests felt welcome and cared for. We had a fresh seafood starter, tender and flavorful steak with sauces served in tasting glasses, and desserts presented beautifully. The DJ and music kept the celebration joyful into the evening beneath the chandeliers, with heartfelt cheers all around. Hotel Olimpo is an elegant, charming coastal place for a wedding in Spain, and I'll never forget the day. 💍🇪🇸 #HotelOlimpo #CantabriaWedding #DestinationWedding #IslaSpain #24May2025
