The owners made us feel very welcome and were so helpful during our Camino stop. They even offered us a lift to make the next leg a bit shorter. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and breakfast was very good. It’s a small, pleasant hotel in a calm, convenient spot in Castillo. There’s a supermarket right next door and a nice restaurant nearby for dinner.
The rooms were clean and cute, and we had a peaceful night apart from hearing reception staff talking on the phone until about 10.30pm. It’s a charming little countryside hotel, around 3km from Noja, where there are beaches, bars and restaurants. We got in around 6.30 on a weekday and there weren’t any food options nearby, but there was a supermarket. The staff kindly lent us plates and cutlery so we could eat in the garden, and served us breakfast early.
The sisters who run the hotel greet you with such a smile, it’s a lovely way to start the day. Breakfast is great, with both sweet and savoury food and homemade cakes. I went surfing in SOMO, and the hotel is about 15 minutes from the beach. Even with breakfast at 8:30, I could drive there and find parking.
We stopped here overnight on the Camino del Norte. The two lovely ladies looked after us so well, the rooms were perfect, and breakfast was great. Highly recommend! 👍
It’s right on the camino trail and very clean, with super friendly people. You can sit outside and enjoy the last of the sunshine, and they’re happy to help with anything. There are two restaurants and a supermarket just a few minutes away, though on Sunday everything closes early.
