Pension De la Hoz

The beaches nearby are wonderful, and from the garden we watched the water come in and go out. Later in the afternoon, we could hear the waves from our apartment. The views are breathtaking and the water is clean. I recommend crossing the little river to the other beach, but remember it can turn into part of the ocean within an hour, leaving no way back to the hotel except to swim! Our apartment was big enough for three and had a small street-facing balcony. The street and supermarket below could get noisy, so we shut the balcony doors and windows to sleep. The supermarket was handy for food and drinks, especially with restaurant prices so high. The small elevator helped. The kitchen was outdated and short on utensils, with a microwave, little oven, one frying pan, and some basic plates and cutlery. The TV was a very old, small CRT, though at least it had color. Despite all that, it was our dream vacation.
