Achacay Sunset Apartment

Rodolf was so welcoming when we arrived, and had kept in touch before the holiday. He arranged transport from the airport both ways. Since we were there for a birthday, the apartment was decorated with banners and there was fizz and beer waiting for us. The apartment is close to the beach, shops and supermarkets, and about a 15-20 minute drive from Tenerife South airport. Fantastic place and host, five stars from us!

The location worked really well, about a five-minute walk to the port and tourist area, and five minutes the other way to Spanish cafes, a supermarket and the bus station. There are good bus links to nearby coastal resorts, the airport and Santa Cruz. We rented a two-bedroom apartment for a month in February and March. The room was a good size, with a nice south-facing balcony towards the port. Communal areas were clean. The pools looked lovely, though a bit cold for me, and there’s a tennis court too.

It’s mostly residential, so nights are quiet, and the private balconies all face the sea with uninterrupted daytime sun. The location is perfect for the beach, shops and bus station. There’s a great view, three pools, a bar, two tennis courts, a table tennis room, hairdressers and laundry. The 24-hour reception area has been refurbished recently, there are four lifts, and parking too.

We found this private apartment listing and got home from a fantastic break. Rodolf was waiting to welcome us after I messaged to say we’d landed, and the host had sent all the details we needed as soon as we booked. The tenth-floor apartment was modern and really nicely decorated, with comfortable beds, plenty of room, a washing machine, dishwasher and free Wi-Fi. The harbour and sea views were amazing. We’d definitely recommend the apartment and hosts. You won’t be disappointed.
