The kitchen was well equipped and the air con worked perfectly. There's a pool, though nowhere to sit, since the seats are outside people's apartments. The room looks great if you squint, but up close everything is scuffed and a bit tired. The mattress wasn't very comfortable, the couch was grubby and the water went out.

We were out most of the day, so we mainly needed somewhere to eat, make food and catch a few hours' sleep. For the money, it wasn't bad. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and we had extra towels and toilet paper for the stay. The room seemed clean when we checked in, though there were a few signs of wear: cigarette stains on the tables and around 20 dents in the fridge door, as if someone had had a punch-up with it. I checked in online before arriving and expected to pay the €150 deposit, but nobody asked for it, and I didn't complain. Happy days. The experience will be different for everyone, even though I'd read plenty of bad reviews before coming. There was a lot of cannabis smell around, so keep that in mind if it's a problem for you. One night, the couple next door had an argument or fight, with shouting and a door slamming for a while.

There were cockroaches in the room, which was dirty, and the smell of cannabis was outside. The staff were rude to children, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you don't mind those things. My kids were repeatedly shouted at by the lifeguard for jumping into the pool and splashing, even though that's what normal seven-year-olds do on holiday and there were no signs forbidding it. The lifeguard got in my partner's face, shouting angrily. My children cried and were afraid to go back to the pool. When I spoke to reception, they were rude and unhelpful, and told me to leave and stay somewhere else if I didn't like the complex. The room was dirty, my child's bed was broken, and they refused to give me new towels. They said towels are replaced only after three nights, even though we had just two in the room. They should make this an adults-only hotel if children aren't welcome in the pool, and not allow cannabis smoking there. The staff need a reality check. They act as though they're above you, but this is a two-star place, not five-star. It should have only a one-star rating. I'd never come back.

We stayed two nights and had a nice, clean room in a great location. There's a supermarket next door, with some shops and kebab places across the road. The card machine had a small hiccup returning my deposit, but nobody was at fault and it came back within a few days. Otherwise it was perfect, and I'd definitely come back if I return to Tenerife. 👍
