Apartamentos Ohana - Edificio Tonillo

We had a great stay, and I’d come back if they installed air conditioning. The fan wasn’t enough, and it was quite dirty, though the rest of the place was very clean. The location and amenities were fantastic, with plenty of towels, fresh bed linen, and everything we needed for our 10 nights. A couple of things on the balcony were disappointing: one chair was cracked, and the table umbrella had a broken spoke and no base. The pillows and quilt covers weren’t very comfortable either. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The rooftop was drab, and the spa looked pretty rank. I wouldn’t book this place if you want to spend time relaxing at the apartment. The bedsit was small, with a tiny balcony facing a busy, noisy street at night. The room was okay if you only need somewhere to sleep. The shower was good, and there was a TV with Spanish channels, as you’d expect in Spain. Two stars for location and cleanliness.

We were very happy with our stay at Ohana. Mireya gave us a lovely apartment on the 3rd floor, with a nice view, and the staff were helpful. The compact place was well laid out, with a small kitchen and the essentials. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, with detailed instructions and photos sent in several languages. There’s a roomy elevator by the stairs. The steep slope and steps at the building entrance could be difficult if you have a physical disability, and I wouldn’t recommend it for wheelchair users. It’s right in the center of Los Cristianos, so restaurants and beaches are an easy walk, though there can be some nighttime noise. Worth the price.

My friend and I spent ten days in Flat 2A over Christmas, and we really enjoyed it. It was lovely waking up to the sun and the everyday street life upstairs. We’d usually get moving when the church bells rang at 8 o’clock. There are plenty of good food shops nearby, and everything is so close. It’s sad to be back in cold England.
