There were dirty beer cans and cigarette butts on the balcony when we arrived, and the floors hadn’t been cleaned. One bed had blood on it, while the other had a black mark. The place was dusty and needed a deep clean. The kettle was broken and its top fell off, nearly burning me. A plug socket also came away from the wall with wires showing. Wi-Fi only worked in one room. Bars opposite were very noisy until the early hours. There were three sets of stairs, and although we had requested a safety gate, they said none would fit. I told the reception manager about the dirt and poor cleaning. She was extremely rude and reluctantly sent a cleaner, who still left the beer cans and didn’t clean the apartment. I eventually gave up because she was so unhelpful. I’ve stayed in many apartments in Tenerife, and this was the worst. For the price, it’s far from luxury, and better service is available from staff who actually care. There was no maid service during our stay, no fresh towels or bed changes. The pool was freezing and not heated. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Alfonso and his staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived until we left. We had a wonderful five-night stay at the Acapulco suite last week. It was modern, spotless, and much more spacious than we expected, with private access to the pool for an easy swim. There’s a supermarket and bus stop a four-minute walk away, and the nearest beach is about ten minutes on foot. Our favorite, Vistas, takes around twenty minutes to reach, but it’s worth the walk. We’ll happily stay here again on our next Tenerife visit. Thank you! Theo & Claire

Kevin took great care of us, and the apartment was fantastic. We had a two-story suite with a rooftop where we could relax. It’s close to the pasarela shopping centre, with lots to do, and the vault bar is a little gem just around the corner. It can be noisy until 1am if your place faces the bars, but that was fine for us. We’ll be back.

We rented the three-bedroom Pacific View for two weeks, from 6th to 19th September. It was very spacious, with large double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and balcony. The rooftop terrace had a hot tub, shaded seating, and a bbq. The apartment was clean, the facilities were great, and the location worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn’t fault the stay and would recommend it. We’ll return.

Portofino gets direct sun all day, which was just what we wanted since we planned to lounge on the balcony. We stayed there for four nights and were delighted. The suite was huge and beautiful, with a massive queen bed, a lounge area, plenty of kitchen utensils, two balconies, and direct access to a smaller pool shared with four other suites. The bathroom had a huge jacuzzi-sized tub, a separate shower, and twin sinks. The photos on Booking.com actually matched the place. A week before we arrived, the manager, Alfonso, contacted me on WhatsApp. When he heard we were travelling for my fiancée’s 30th birthday, he offered us a bottle of sparkling wine. He was lovely and ready to help with anything. Catia met us at arrival and looked after our bags while the room was being prepared, so we could explore. These are privately owned serviced apartments rather than a hotel. The complex management rents out the suites and uses the same outside cleaning company for each one. It has a somewhat hotel-like feel, though there’s no food service, and guests are expected to empty the bins when leaving. There’s some noise at night from the bars across the street. It’s hard to find somewhere in Arona that’s completely quiet, and it had died down after midnight. We’ve recommended the place to family, who may try to book this same room for a getaway later this year. Five out of five for the accommodation.
