We had to leave and find another apartment, and there was no refund. The apartment was filthy and smelled bad, the living room bed was dirty, and it was full of large cockroaches. One bed’s slats were broken, the other bed was on wheels, and the door barely opened. Turning on the kettle cut electricity to the whole house. The mobile and internet connections were really bad, and planes flew overhead all day, making it very noisy. The host was very unpleasant. When we showed him all the problems, he lost his temper and started shouting.

The home was filthy and badly neglected, with damaged, broken and dirty features. The host was obstructive and aggressive, denying the problems. It’s directly under the flight path of Aeropuerto Sur, so there were many times we couldn’t hear each other talk. The neighborhood was grotty, with dogs barking endlessly. A home and host from hell.

Everything was perfect, and I’d highly recommend it. Many places of interest are about a 20-minute drive away.
