The apartment is basic, but clean and functional, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It has a wonderful sea view and is right on the beachfront, with all amenities close by. The pool is lovely, with room for sun loungers. I’d recommend it and will stay here again.

I’d read the reviews and was a little concerned, but we were shown to our room early after arriving around midday. It was clean, had a superb view, and had plenty of space for two. The beds were okay, nothing special, but I slept fine. The shower was just okay too. For the price, it was a bargain.

The view was the best part 😍. The room was a bit warm, maybe it should be cooler on the 11th floor. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the room could have been cleaned better. I found a cigarette under the TV shelf.

Which apartment you get makes a huge difference. In February we had a very nice one rented by a private owner, but this December we booked directly through apartamentos commodoro and got a very basic room. You even have to pay extra for Wi-Fi, and the prices are pretty hefty. There aren’t enough plugs, the lamps give off a cold light, and the room doesn’t feel cozy. Their website doesn’t show much useful information or many images, and the booking process is confusing. When we arrived, they said we hadn’t paid, even though the site had asked us to pay when we booked. For five scary minutes, we thought we’d lost our booking and had nowhere to stay. The pool isn’t heated, so it’s freezing and almost unusable. In season, it’s ridiculously expensive too. If you can’t rent from a private owner you trust, I’d avoid it.
