Hostel Banana Surf House

The roof terrace has a brilliant sunset view, and I’ll be coming back. It’s under new management and they’re making improvements. No bed bugs. The hostel was very clean and cosy, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. They were cleaning throughout the day, and the kitchen had all the pots and pans we needed. The bathroom was always clean too. Bars, shops, and the beach are 2 minutes away. The location is quite steep, so be ready for steps.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, close to the beach, and a room with big lockers. There are 2 terraces on the roof. Best hostel in south Tenerife!!!

For one cheap night in a central spot, it’s a good option. The rooms are very basic in both furnishings and decoration, though I didn’t mind the wall paintings. I could have used a thicker blanket, since I only had sheets and felt a bit cold at night. The kitchen has basic equipment, a microwave, and a way to boil water and make coffee. There’s also a living room and a rooftop with a decent view over the beach and city, plus sunsets. If you arrive by car, there’s free street parking. There are some stairs, but they were no problem for me. Good for my bum lol The walls are very thin. Some people got up quite early, around 6 am, and I could hear everything. Still, it was okay for one night. The center and beach are nearby.
