We booked 5B for eight nights, but left after one. The flat is on the fifth floor and the lift had reportedly been out of order for months. Climbing five flights left us feeling trapped in the apartment. There were loose tiles and builders’ debris on the stairs and in the lobby, and the timed stair lights had only one switch at ground level, so we ended up in darkness on the way up. The pool is shaded for much of the day, despite what the promotional pictures suggest, though the location is nice and close to the beach. Inside, the bathroom door lock trapped us in, the shower control came off in my hand the first time I used it, and the drawer under the sink was falling off. The on-site service agents were abrupt and of little help. We had to find somewhere else at our own expense, as the agent couldn’t relocate us. So far, we haven’t received a refund. The reason given was that they had accommodated our party of four elderly ladies in the apartment. I’ll update this after my solicitor takes over when I get home. This was a horrible holiday experience, and I wouldn’t consider it suitable for families with children or older people. The debris and darkness on the stairs are a serious trip and fall hazard.

The sea and harbour views from our lovely apartment were fabulous. Restaurants are close by, too.

We booked 5B Jardines Canarios sul Mar Smart TV and Fibra BLOSS for a week, but left after two days. The apartment was filthy and badly damaged, even though we arrived while the cleaning crew was still there and tipped them. The rental agency barely communicated or cooperated, and we couldn’t leave sooner because we had nowhere else to stay. They also require a €150 deposit, which you practically have to beg to get back. The place itself was in a deplorable state. The front door can be opened without a key in ten seconds, the elevator felt unsafe, and the stairwell constantly smelled of food. Cupboard doors were nearly falling off, bathroom drawers came loose and landed on my foot, and it took half an hour just to get the bedroom closet open for the towels. The walls were scratched and dirty, the dishes and cupboards were filthy, there was expired food left by previous tenants, and there were no washing-up utensils. Dirty laundry was on the beds, and I won’t even mention what was underneath. Hot water took ages and then came through only in drops. Anyone with a choice should stay somewhere else. There are much better options nearby.
