Good value for money, with basic but clean rooms and everything you need. The apartments aren’t serviced, so don’t expect cleaning or towel changes during your stay. It’s excellent budget accommodation, ideally located five minutes’ walk from the Mirador strip or fifteen minutes downhill to the esplanade. There’s no air conditioning, which could make things sticky in the hotter months. Sun loungers cost €2 a day.
The pool is lively and gets cleaned every morning, and the complex has a café with bingo. The upper apartments are roomy, though getting to them means climbing three flights of stairs. There’s a nearby shop, but it’s very expensive, so you need a car to pick up heavy water from Lidl. It would help if the complex could deliver water to apartments on request when guests arrive.
The only drawback for us was the €2 charge per sunbed. It makes popping over to the pool for a couple of hours in the afternoon, after returning to the apartment, feel awkward.

The apartment itself was fine, but the pool was a real letdown. It shuts at 6:45 p.m. in midsummer, even though the sun stays up until 9, so afternoon swims aren't much of an option. Sunbeds cost €2, chairs €1, and umbrellas €1 too. After paying over €1,000 to rent the apartment, that was a total disappointment.
