We chose the ocean and beach because the pool water was colder than the sea. There are shops and restaurants nearby, though the shops weren't the cheapest. The apartment is fairly close to the beach, an easy enough walk even with a child, and it's a good place for a family getaway. It has a washing machine, but the first load came out dirty and covered in black, slimy lint, so it seemed like the machine hadn't been cleaned in a while. A second wash helped, but the experience was unpleasant. There was no manual, and I couldn't find one online, so I didn't know the spin speed, which mattered a lot to me. The kitchen is well equipped: drip coffee maker, moka pot, French press, and what you need to cook. A crib and bathtub are available on request. Despite a few minor mishaps, I'd recommend it for families too.
