We stayed in the Lanzarote block, and it was a great base for the beach, the golden mile, and the pools. The location makes it easy to head either way. Our room was clean, spacious enough, and well maintained. It had everything we needed: a kitchen with a fridge and small freezer, oven, pots and pans, and kettle. The bathroom had a good-quality mains hair dryer and a nicely sized shower with strong water pressure. The beds were firm and comfortable, with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. The pools were great for adults and kids, with loads of sun loungers. Some people do reserve beds right at 9am when the pool opens, but there are hundreds around the pools, so we could always find a spot in sun or shade. The kids' and swimming areas are separate. Floats are only allowed in the kids' section, leaving a side free for swimmers. My only small complaint is how salty the pools are. I knew they were saltwater, but they were much saltier than the sea. Our skin felt crusty as it dried, and the kids' eyes stung badly, so they went in less than usual. Apart from that, the resort was incredible and we'd definitely stay again.

For what we paid, it was outstanding, and we loved our stay. The complex is right on the main strip and on the beach, with an unbelievable location. Our spacious, very comfortable one-bedroom apartment had two balconies and was immaculate, with daily cleaning. It was one of the newly renovated apartments. The bedroom had no door, but was screened off enough for our four-year-old to sleep while we stayed downstairs. I understand some one-bedroom apartments have a different layout. Every staff member we met was warm, friendly, and helpful, and they were quick to deal with anything, though we had no issues. The pools and waterpark were amazing, not too busy in February, and the pool staff were lovely. We didn't use the restaurants. We had lunch at the pool bar once, and the food wasn't great, but the drinks and snacks were perfect. There was some construction while we were there, which we knew about before booking, and it didn't disturb us.

We chose self-catering this year after usually staying at the gran oasis or the best, and the extra space was great. It also meant we could eat out every day, with so many decent places nearby. Our recently renovated room in the tower had a nice new kitchen, air conditioning, and a good-sized bathroom. The view faced the safari centre. The pool area was great, and the pool is massive. Despite other comments, it wasn't that cold at all, certainly not in June; it felt nice and fresh. It's saltwater, but irritated my skin less than chlorine does. We enjoyed wandering around the underground shopping mall and games room. The cafes on site were a bit dear compared with places outside, though not ridiculously so. It was lovely to step out the front door straight onto the golden mile.

The pools are huge, so there was plenty of space, and we never had trouble finding sunbeds. There's a good area for kids with small and medium-sized slides. The bar and restaurant were nice, with good food, and they connect to the shopping precinct beneath the hotel. It's a large complex spread over many levels, despite being only about three floors high, so expect lots of stairs. The surroundings were nice, and the beachfront and a pleasant beach bar are very close.

We stayed in room 5015, which was excellent for a couple, with a great shower room. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and quickly sorted out a small problem when we arrived. The hotel is in a great spot for the whole resort, and you won't struggle to find a sunbed. Just be warned, the water is freezing. Lol 😆 You'll certainly enjoy your stay here.
