Communication with the apartment provider was good, and check-in was effortless. It's a perfectly fine base in Tenerife, and cheap accommodation that does the job in Los Cristianos. The main downside was the very limited hot water in the shower. You had to be quick, or it would turn cold. Also, the best bed provided is a sofa bed, which may not suit everyone.
The apartment was clean, the pool was great, and the location worked really well. For the price, everything was top notch. I booked through booking.com and would happily stay here again.
After we had agreed on a price, the host MARCO and the management company 'Tenerife as you like', led by FRANCESCA, asked us for extra money. When I refused, they cancelled my booking. I found them very unreliable and unprofessional, and felt they weren't honoring the agreement. I'd avoid this company and Francesca's team.
The location is the main plus, handy for Los Cristianos and the beaches. Comfort is pretty basic, though: no air conditioning, a very small bathroom, and no soap or shampoo. The bed wasn't especially comfortable either, and parking is so limited that finding a space can be difficult.
The pool area looked nice, though the place itself was average. When we arrived, the hotel said there had been a marketing mistake and suggested we seek a refund from booking.com. We offered the management contact more money, but never got a reply. Luckily, the hotel next door, Aquamar, welcomed us and gave us the best Apartment in the house. As the saying goes, when one leaves, the other takes.
