Apartamentos Vistasur

The apartments are large and well maintained, and there’s a small private pool. The location is good, right on a good beach, with a shopping centre, restaurants, and bars, plus 24-hour reception and security. A bit expensive.

We’re already looking forward to coming back to OUR TERRACE, it was perfection! The rest of the apartment was perfectly fine too. The ladies at reception were both lovely and friendly, and let us store our bags before check-in. The whole process was really straightforward. It’s a frontline property on a particularly nice stretch of Las Vistas beach, a short walk from absolutely everything, but not as noisy as other nearby areas. We’ll surely be back next time we pass through Tenerife. A king bed would be a welcome improvement.

The duplex 1 bed apartment was enormous, with two balconies and two bathrooms. They arranged a pull-out bed in the living room at no extra cost, and everything was clean. The location was amazing, 30 yards from the beach and close to everything. At this price, you won’t find better. It’s not a 5 star price, so don’t expect perfection, but it delivers completely for its price range.

There were insects, including a cockroach and what looked like a small ant. They live under the kitchen cabinet and in gaps in the bathroom, and come out at night looking for food. They were running over my toothbrush in the bathroom. Most people probably don’t notice them because they’re asleep when the bugs come out. I spent one night there. I asked the staff for a discount, but they said 140 euro was the price including the bugs, and that it was my fault for not asking to change rooms in the middle of the night. I don’t trust that other apartments are free of bugs hidden under cabinets either. The bedroom is upstairs, so it may not suit someone with reduced mobility. There was very, very noisy airflow equipment under the apartment. Staff said they would check it, but that didn’t improve my previous night. They didn’t give me the WiFi password, and it wasn’t in the apartment. Staff said I should have asked. Guest parking is a good price and one level below, but there’s no elevator, so you have to haul luggage up the stairs.
