This can work as a place to shower and sleep after a day out, and it's near the city beach and shops. But for the price, the comfort and quality didn't match up for me. The terrace is large, with garden furniture and a grill, but it doesn't feel private. Neighbors in the opposite building can easily look over, even though no other guests use the terrace. Inside, the apartment looks spacious and bright at first, but quite a few things are worn: the sink is chipped, towel holders are rusty, the mirror wobbles and barely hangs on, the bed creaks, the table is scuffed, and the sofa sags. The little shop next door was a big plus, run by possibly the nicest person we met on the island. It came in handy since the apartment only provides two toilet rolls and two bin bags. A nearby bistro was open every day, but we never saw it serve anyone. There are also a few bars and a nightclub within walking distance, though we didn't feel comfortable or safe passing them, especially after dark. Parking was a serious hassle. Street spaces were practically impossible to find, and the nearby lot was in poor shape and rarely had room. We couldn't find any designated place for trash either, so our rubbish sat on the terrace in heat above 25°C for more than a week.
