The noise was the main reason I took off two stars. There was a constant growling or humming in the corridors, day and night, and it carried into my room on the 3rd floor. I was offered the chance to check an apartment on the 6th floor, but since the ventilation shaft runs through every floor, I suspect it would have been much the same. Bring earplugs. The central air conditioning also makes noise all night and can’t be switched off. The top-floor room itself is great, but the ventilation outlets up there roar continuously, unbearable for more than about five minutes. On weekends, a nearby nightclub can add noise too. The single beds slide apart, and water drains poorly from the shower. There’s no beach equipment provided. There are plenty of positives: it’s right by the beach and a fantastic promenade, with an amazing view from the window, and public transport from the airport is easy. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with high-quality bed linen, towels, pillows, soap, shampoo, and shower gel. The corridors and apartment smelled pleasant, and water was provided on arrival. There’s a nice common area on the top floor and convenient PIN-code access, so there’s no key or card to lose. Cooking utensils are provided, though there are no basic items like salt, pepper, or olive oil. Internet access is available. If the humming doesn’t bother you, I definitely recommend it.
