Just across the street, the owners have a bar and restaurant with outdoor tables, and breakfast is sometimes served there. There's also a pharmacy around the corner, a Mercadona less than five minutes away on foot, and Arriondas hospital is closer than from any other hotel. We stayed in clean, spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms at a very reasonable price. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a quiet part of town. A lovely hiking path along the Piloña river starts nearby and takes you to the town center in under 15 minutes.

I loved the location beside the river, with a path leading into the village center and lovely views of green trees. Lidl is close too. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and everything was very clean. One of the managers had lived in Australia for a long time, so it was easy to have a fluent conversation with her. And this was the first hotel I've stayed in during my lifetime, despite hundreds of stays around the world, that left free tampons in the baño. Women need this, it's part of life. See you next year.
