Living Artenara - CAVE HOUSE & TERRACE

The Living Artenara team were friendly and incredibly helpful. They provided a useful guide to the property and a great Gran Canaria guide with recommendations for the area and hikes. Check-in and checkout were easy, and they responded quickly by email or phone whenever we needed them. Local shops are a short walk away, there’s an interesting cave museum right next door, and Tejeda and lots of hiking routes are a short drive away. The home was peaceful, the neighbourhood friendly and relaxed, and the place had everything we needed and more. It was super clean, with plenty of towels and spare pillows, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely bathroom and shower. The view from CAVE HOUSE & SILENCE | Remote Working | Hiking was incredible, almost unreal. We had lovely evenings watching sunsets and stars, plus quiet morning coffees on the balcony. Such a dream stay, thank you so much :)

We were there for 10 days, doing lots of trail running and remote work, and the setup worked really well, with fast internet and lovely trails right outside the door. The place was clean, practical, and well organised. The views alone make CAVE HOUSE & TERRACE | Remote Working | Hiking a 10/10. I enjoyed it so much and can’t wait to return!

For remote work, there’s a comfortable desk and excellent internet, and it’s just as easy to use the house to disconnect and enjoy nature. The location is handy too, with two mini-markets and restaurants a short walk away if you want a break from cooking. The view over the valley in the morning and at sunset never stopped amazing me. I spent an unforgettable week in the Cave House & Terrace and already can’t wait to return. Every detail felt carefully thought through, and the place has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The Living Artenara team were exceptionally responsive and helpful, with flawless communication and ready to meet any need. I was especially touched by the box of paracetamol in the first aid kit, thoughtful given the local pharmacy’s limited hours. It showed how much the team cares about guests’ well-being. A perfect stay in a peaceful haven, I’ll definitely be back!

If you’re after breathtaking views and a rural retreat in the hills, this is the place. Artenara is a peaceful, historic village in central Gran Canaria, and staying here really makes you feel part of a rural Gran Canarian community. The scenery is amazing, the accommodation was as described, clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our short visit. The host was excellent, with great communication and quick responses.
