The owners are very nice, and the place is in beautiful Arucas, a short walk from the center and away from the main tourist area. The price felt reasonable, and Wi-Fi is free. But the bedroom is on a mezzanine above the living room with no window, so the kitchen and bedroom smelled damp. The shower is tiny, and the plastic curtain kept sticking to my backside. There’s no parking, so you need some luck to find a street spot.

This is a small holiday apartment in charming old town Arucas. The comfort wasn’t great, with a hard bed and a very small shower.
