We had dinner there with our group of 20, and the plates were delicious with a good range to choose from. The patio was nice too, with space to sit outside or rest your feet in cold water. The albergue itself was good, though women have fewer shower options: one in the women’s bathroom and another in a single stall bathroom that others can use. The men’s bathroom has two.

Dinner and breakfast are available, and there’s even a foot bath. The place was clean, with a nice bathroom and shower where you don’t have to keep pressing a button for more water. They also had nice smelling soap and paper towels.

We enjoyed our stay. The dorms have bunk beds but aren’t too cramped, and the separate showers downstairs for men and women were clean. There’s a social bar and dining space that opens onto a roomy veranda. It’s on a hill just outside the village, with lovely countryside views.

A really friendly welcome, and the pilgrim menu was excellent. The showers were above standard, though there were only two for each gender, and there’s a small fountain pool for tired feet. Our upstairs dorm seemed more comfortable, with a good mattress and 12 beds, and it wasn’t too big. It’s quiet up here since noisy crowds stay in the village. The climb to the top end takes some effort, but the fresh air and easy start in the morning made it worthwhile. A good stop.

My wife and I loved it here. The bunk rooms had good space and were clean, and the showers were clean and worked well. The restaurant was very good, and breakfast starts at 6 AM. We’d recommend it to pilgrims.
