A lovely setting for a rest day on the Camino. The private rooms had nice beds, and it was great to have good coffee and conversations.

I loved the quiet, local feel here, and I got almost 12 uninterrupted hours of sleep. The bed was amazing, the room was really comfortable, and it had a portable AC. You can hear the road, but with the windows shut it wasn’t too bad. There isn’t much of a cafe. You can pick up snacks, trail supplies, or a sandwich at the bar/cafe, but if you want a proper dinner, eat beforehand. For walking the Camino, it may not be the best stop, though it’s a great place if you’re doing the route by bike.

After a tiring day, it was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine at the tables and chairs. This little place has a bar and supermarket, and the staff were great throughout. The rooms are unusual but beautiful, everywhere was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. There were 11 of us, and although we hadn’t booked an evening meal, the staff accommodated us. The food was delicious, the service fantastic, and the wine and atmosphere were lovely. I’d highly recommend a visit.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was decent. One thing to plan for if you’re walking the Camino de Santiago: the hotel is about 1.5km off the trail and there are no signs, so pin the location before setting out. It’s on main road 574, which gets quite noisy if you’re in a front room.
