Pazo de Sedor

The staff were such welcoming, friendly ladies and very helpful. We stayed one night with our Camino group, and everyone was amazed by dinner. The menu and atmosphere were fantastic, and it was the best dinner of our whole Camino, absolutely delicious. The hotel is gorgeous, from the beautiful grounds to the stunning interior, and the rooms are big and comfortable. It’s far from shops and restaurants, but everything you need is right there, so I gave the location 5 stars too. Many thanks!

Two very professional young hosts looked after us. The food was excellent, and the location was wonderful. Definitely worth a visit on your Camino trip to Santiago de Compostela.

After walking the camino, we found this to be a wonderfully calm place to rest. The property has a pool and padel court, and the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. We’d love to come back. It’s a charming, beautifully restored 17th century pazo, now run as a hotel by the daughter of the family who owns it. The first floor feels like a history museum, showing how a typical pazor in the area was built and furnished back then, with the family’s antiques and decorative keepsakes. They offer a 3 course dinner and/or breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price. The food’s as good as, or better than, some of the best restaurants along the camino.

Breakfast was tasty, and I was glad they had oatmilk and soy milk. They were fairly accommodating for vegans and vegetarians, though the menu del día still felt pricey at 21 euros even for a veggie dish. I stopped for one night on the Camino de Santiago. The hotel is really beautiful, like staying in a castle!
