Zumargain

We had a comfortable stay in the apartment, which came with its own parking spot and a fenced private garden. The open-plan room has blackout curtains between the bedroom and the sitting and kitchen areas, plus a separate bathroom with disability access. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking, and we enjoyed eating our food outside. There was good lighting, a washing machine, an outdoor laundry line, and complimentary toiletries. Zumargain is in a tiny, lovely village, with an old picturesque church right by the property. We enjoyed walking around in the evening. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. Although the room wasn’t ready at check-in time, they got it prepared quickly. The staff were very friendly. They didn’t speak English, but Google Translate helped us communicate. A few things were missing: there was no air conditioning or fan, so summer nights can get hot. The kitchen had no dish towels or kettle, though not having a kettle seemed cultural since none of our other places had one either. There was no bathroom floor towel, and we were given just one toilet paper roll for two nights.
