La Casa De Murias

Ana was outstandingly kind. The traditional Maragato house has been beautifully and carefully restored down to the last detail. Our group of six adults and three children found it really well equipped, and we didn't lack anything.

Ana, who rented us the house, was very attentive and friendly. My friends and I stayed for three days and loved it. The traditional Maragato-style house is beautiful, welcoming, spotless, and has everything you might need. It's been renovated with a lot of taste. There are lovely places nearby, including Las Médulas near Astorga and Santa Colomba de Somoza, where you'll find the Club 45 Foundation, a fantastic museum of beat and pop culture.

The house keeps its original look while being tastefully renovated. Even the bathroom grate was a lovely wooden lattice. We had a wonderful stay, and really appreciated the hospitality, flexibility, and thoughtful touches ❤️

After cold, rain, hail, and plenty of mud on the 2025 Vuelta a León BTT around Astorga, Casa de Murias was the perfect place for our group to recover before the next day's stage. We spent three days mountain biking amid spectacular scenery and trails with great flow. The house was welcoming and full of character, with its traditional charm kept alongside modern comforts. Every room had its own bathroom, everything was very clean, and the living room fireplace was a great spot to talk through the day's adventures and mishaps. Ana and Elena made everything easy for us. Thanks! We'll be back another time when the weather's better.
