Peace and quiet at night was exactly what I wanted. The cleaning staff didn’t make noise early in the morning like they do in many hotels, and guests weren’t making noise as if they were at home. A hotel should be somewhere to relax and take in the beautiful city and its culture. The room was clean and lovely, though the air conditioner really needs fixing. Breakfast was good, with so much to choose from. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the service was good too. The breakfast room was beautiful. At the bar, though, one person isn’t enough. They need more staff, and I don’t like seeing people overworked. I’d come back if I get the chance. Thanks for all your hard work!

The staff were terrific and the location was great. I enjoyed my stay, and the breakfast room was opulent. They also kept my bike locked away safely. I just wish it had been possible to make coffee in the room.

Friendly staff, a clean and comfortable hotel, and a good breakfast with plenty of sweet and savoury choices. There’s free street parking across from the hotel until 10.00am, then it costs €1.20 for 2 hours.

The service was super nice, and the beds are large with plenty of room. It’s an old-school kind of hotel in the best sense, with solid, quiet walls and doors. About a 10 minute walk in from the main gates of the old city.

The ornate decor and lovely breakfast were a treat, and the beautiful walled city is very close by. The bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean.
