The room was spacious, but the mattress was rock hard and I couldn't sleep well. Breakfast was okay, with enough options. Check-in and the location were good, and the staff were polite and very helpful. The property is outside the city, looking out over the city and its beautiful walls, but you can walk into town in 12 minutes. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. If you're going on a weekend, I'd recommend booking ahead: two places turned us away before we found a table.

The room and location were good, but the dinner and breakfast were awful. We came as a group of 22 from Australia, and none of us was happy with the catering. They didn't even refill the drinking water.

The hotel sits in a beautiful area overlooking Avila’s walls, and the food was excellent. Service was very kind, from the front desk to the waitresses, though they seemed understaffed. The rooms were comfortable, but some outside noise, perhaps from the kitchen, made it hard to sleep. Breakfast was very simple and didn't match the hotel's elegance. Still, a good experience overall.

The food was okay, from gazpacho to chuleton meat, but it took far too long to arrive. It's a busy roadside stop, with lots of people coming in to eat, and service was slow. This hotel could have been better.

The staff were professional and friendly, and both the food and atmosphere were wonderful. It's a classy hotel overlooking the City walls of Avila, with spacious rooms. The bathrooms are especially handy for older guests, with a seat in the shower area, something I haven't seen in many hotels I've visited.
