The setting worked so well for our plans: the Covadonga Lakes, Cares Gorge, and Bulnes Gorge routes are all between here and the hotel, and Cangas de Onís is about a 20-minute drive. There’s a village restaurant two minutes away on foot, though it doesn’t open until 10 am. We also appreciated the private parking, good Wi-Fi, the two covered picnic spots for sitting outside or eating our own food, and the full breakfast for €8 per person. Noelia, who runs the place, was warm and attentive and had helpful suggestions for the area. My sister and I stayed three nights in a very clean, well-equipped room with two comfortable beds, a chair, small table, wardrobe, wooden console, TV, private bathroom, hairdryer, towels, and full linens. Ours was on the ground floor and felt a little dark, and we could hear the next room. Dogs are allowed, which we noticed other guests making use of. I’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Noelia is what made the place feel so welcoming. She really looks after you and is so warm and friendly, almost like staying with family. The whole place is lovingly decorated and has a homey feel, while being close to everything important around the area. We had a wonderful week and will definitely return. Highly recommended! ☺️😃

Noelia was so thoughtful, always checking that we were comfortable, and she pointed us to a delicious spot for dinner. The hotel has a lovely charm and sits surrounded by nature. Honestly, a 10 all around.

The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the hotel in Avin has plenty of charm. Noelia is a great host. I took a star off because breakfast seemed expensive to me, and the road nearby brings a lot of traffic noise.

We spent four nights here and had a great stay. Noelia was always on hand with suggestions for places to visit, and the location made getting around easy, about 15 minutes from Cangas de Onís and half an hour from other places. I’d definitely book here again if we come back to Asturias. Highly recommended rural hotel.
