The rooftop bar has a 360-degree view across Badajoz, a lovely spot to have a drink. The building is now a hotel, restaurant, and bar after a wonderful restoration, and it has kept the original wooden floor and other features. Everything looks beautiful and elegant, with the Christmas decorations making it even brighter this time of year. Laura was especially attentive, helpful, and polite. Her service completely changed the impression we were getting at first, because Mr. António had nearly made us decide to leave with his arrogant and improper way of dealing with us. Management should make sure he gets training so he doesn't harm the image of this wonderful place. It used to be a toy shop where I bought toys for my daughters, especially at Christmas. It's definitely a must-visit for Badajoz residents and visitors. I'll be back.

The draft Estrella de Galicia was poured perfectly and was reasonably priced. We tried a few tapas: the acorn-fed Iberian ham was excellent, the cheese tasting was pretty good for almost all the cheeses, and the cod and ham and pork belly croquettes were acceptable. Desserts were a little overpriced but good. I preferred the cheesecake to the chocolate dessert. The building has been beautifully restored, and the decor is lovely. They kindly showed us the other floors, each with its own feel, including the restaurant, event spaces, drinks area, and terrace with the historic clock, its famous three bells, and beautiful views. Service was pleasant and more than adequate, and everyone was friendly. Prices aren't cheap, but they aren't excessive either. We'll be back, and we're looking forward to visiting and staying at the Hotel in the same building, with its entrance on another street.

The artichokes, ceviche, and oxtail lasagna were all exquisite. I wouldn't change a thing. I love eating and rarely connect with food like I did here, it was a truly exceptional meal. The staff were wonderful too, very friendly, with impeccable attitudes and spot-on recommendations. Between the beautiful decor, unbeatable location, and captivating style, it's a perfect place for a long evening with someone special. I was there with a coworker, and we had a wonderful time.

We met for a family meal in this beautifully restored former toy store, which also has a good restaurant and bar. The service was excellent, and we were treated wonderfully. The terrace was a bit crowded afterwards, but we enjoyed the views of Badajoz. This was my second visit, and I'll definitely return.

The food is good quality and expertly prepared, and the prices feel fair for what you get. Every corner of this iconic building looks picture-perfect, and it's really comfortable inside. The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived. Hard to beat for atmosphere, and I'd highly recommend it.
