I only managed three hours of sleep on the first night because it was too hot. The AC had been locked at 24 degrees, and when I asked the front desk the next day to change it, they said they wouldn't adjust it for environmental reasons. After I complained again that night, they unlocked the controls. I was finally able to lower the temperature after 1 am on the second night.

The bathroom floor got soaked whenever we showered, and with three beds packed into such a small room, it felt claustrophobic. Our towels weren't changed each day unless we left them outside the room. The floor was already dirty when we arrived, though the room itself was nice. A bathtub was a plus. There's no breakfast, but a nice cafe right beside the building.

I emailed to ask how late check-in works, but got a reply about WhatsApp with no actual instructions. I followed up two days later and heard nothing. Why keep this information from guests? Can someone at least tell me if the front desk is open at 11 PM?

Being right by the metro station was really handy, and the rooms were cleaned every day. Check-in and check-out were both easy, and I thought it was great value for the money.

There isn't a cafe or restaurant on site, though you can pay to have breakfast brought to your room. We tried it and found the food good quality with plenty of variety. The rooms are clean, comfortable in size for the price, and the hostel is right in the centre of Badalona, near a subway stop with connections to Barcelona. A good option for a short or medium stay.
