Hostal estudios

For what you pay, it's a real shame. The place is shabby, with tiny, uncomfortable rooms. I've stayed in better hostels.

We found bedbugs in the bed and had already been bitten. We have clear photos of the bugs and bites. It was deeply upsetting, and the worry about carrying them home meant repeatedly washing our clothes and belongings, which added a lot of stress and spoiled the rest of our trip. This is a serious hygiene and safety issue. When we told the host, they first said there was no other room. Later, they drove for about an hour, cleaned a room next door, and moved us there in the middle of the night. We got only a few hours of sleep before leaving. We appreciate that they eventually moved us, but that doesn't change the fact that the accommodation had bedbugs. We asked for a refund because the stay wasn't worth what we paid. The host refused, saying that moving us for the few remaining hours had resolved the problem. We also requested documentation of the last pest control inspection before our stay and never received any. Bedbugs need proper prevention and professional treatment, and other travelers should know what happened.

We were bitten after finding bedbugs in the bed. The place was extremely dirty too, and we felt uncomfortable the whole time. We spent the stay worrying about carrying them home in our luggage, which caused a lot of stress. For what we paid, it wasn't worth even one euro. Travelers should avoid staying here.

The air conditioning gave off an awful smell when it was on, and the windows couldn't be opened. The room felt unhygienic, and the shower curtain was moldy :(
