Apartamentos Alcazar de Baeza

Antonio, the owner, took care of everything and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and places to see. The apartment in Alcazar was comfortable, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with everything kept in good shape. We'd highly recommend it. A perfect ten!

The photos gave a very different impression from what we found, and the stay was dreadful. The shared areas were run down and filthy, with animal feces left uncleared for all five days. The shaded pool was freezing and poorly maintained. Inside, there was a musty smell, the kitchen and cooking utensils were dirty, and the worn sheets had holes. The bathroom was damaged and awkward to use, with the toilet only usable sideways and a towel rack on the mirror. The air conditioning needs a key to turn on, so it switches off when you leave and the apartment is sweltering when you get back. The crib provided on request looked as if it had come from a dumpster, worn out, stained, and full of holes. It didn't meet expectations at all. The one good thing was how wonderfully the local people treated us everywhere we went. I've attached photos.

The owner was very helpful and gave us great tips on places to visit and eat in Baeza. It's easy to park here, and the location works well if you have a car.
