We tried the €13 set menu and thought it was good value. It came with a drink, bread, and dessert, and the food was tasty and well cooked. The waiters were very attentive, and the place was acceptable. The desserts could be a lot better, though, they were too sweet.

We came as a group visiting Baeza and Úbeda, and the meal was awful. Rice was served as a starter. The main was meat in sauce, but it felt like mostly sauce, with peppercorns and a bit of meat. We asked for an oil cruet for the bread and they couldn’t bring one because they didn’t have any. Dessert was barely a sampler, just a tiny piece of bread pudding. It could hardly have been worse. Travel agencies that always choose the cheapest options are partly to blame too.

We found the place by chance on a Sunday and managed to eat without a reservation, though it was difficult because there were so many people.

The Sunday set menu was €16 and came with partridge salad, piquillo peppers, and secreto (Iberian pork). We ate really well, all of it was very good 👌🏻
