VTAR Casa Las Tinajas

Andrés and his wife were lovely, welcoming hosts, and their two dogs were adorable. He told us some history of the house and suggested great places to eat and visit. We were comfortable during our few days in Baeza, and our double room was bright, spacious, and had its own bathroom. Still, there were a few things that kept me from giving five stars. The water took 10-15 minutes to come through hot, which wastes a lot, and then the temperature was hard to adjust, so our showers ended up quite hot. The toilet cistern was broken and could get stuck, wasting water and making an annoying noise. The room price also made the missing complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hairdryer worth mentioning. We had chosen the place because it was advertised as having a private pool, and the photo seemed to confirm that. When we arrived, we learned it was shared with other guests. That would have been fine if the listing had said so; it was frustrating to see it presented as private or for exclusive use. Best wishes, we'll be back. Hugs.
