A handy stop just off A-4 when traveling between Madrid and destinations in the south. The rooms are clean, and there’s a nice café, restaurant, and bar downstairs. There’s no coffee or tea pot or fridge in the room, but the TV is decent and the AC units have remote controls.

A comfortable bed, clean rooms, and a gorgeous entrance, all for a cheap night’s stay. This three-star hotel was a surprising find in a tired-looking town just off the motorway. It’s easy to reach on the way from Valencia to Cordoba or Seville, has air conditioning, and the bar and snack service stays open late. Bravo.

I walked 1,8 km hoping to get tataki, but it’s no longer on the menu. The place looks beautiful when you walk in, but the service didn’t feel very attentive. The garden wasn’t open for sitting, and even though I ordered first, my food came last. I’d like to come back if there were more smiles here. The Club sandwich had no chicken, and this food just isn’t for me.

We’re traveling from Malaga to Madrid, and this rural hotel was ideal for an overnight stop. Parking is free and private, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We could get drinks in the hotel cafe, but meals weren’t served until 8pm, too late for us, so we drove 12 miles to McDonalds in the neighboring town for an early dinner. At 3am, loud music and other sounds started up, and it sounded like a nightclub until 5am.
