After the road, having a bathtub was a lovely bonus. The room was simple, but clean and well looked after. There wasn’t any water available or breakfast, which made things pretty difficult for me as a pilgrim. The hotel was more basic than I’d expected.

The location is quiet, away from town, with easy parking, and there are 3-4 decent places to eat just a few minutes away. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Biona or a 35 min walk. Breakfast was OK, mostly cold cuts, cheese, and fruit, with no hot food. I stayed for 2 nights in July 2024. This feels more like a business hotel than somewhere for a holiday, and it was likely built 20-30 years ago. Many rooms are very small, with space for a bed and little else. Some top-floor rooms have Velux style windows set into the roof, so there’s no view unless you stand up. There’s no air conditioning. In warm weather the rooms get very hot and don’t cool down much at night. You can open the windows, but the lush green surroundings mean there are quite a lot of mosquitoes, and they’ll bite you overnight. There are about 30 rooms in total.

We arrived for the night we’d booked for 2021-11-27 through hotels.com and found the place completely shut. Nobody answered the door or phone. hotels.com support apologized and told us we’d have to find somewhere else. Nice. Four months later, we still haven’t had our 90 Euros refunded because hotels.com can’t get in touch with the hotel, which was shut for winter. Laughably incompetent from Hotel EntreRobles and hotels.com.
